Why Do I Feel Like I Won the Kentucky Derby???

Less than two hours to get the terms of an offer agreed upon, get the offer signed, and get it submitted to the seller. The goal was to prevent this home from going to an open house the next morning which would have been an absolute zoo!! A number of other offers from prospective buyers had already been submitted. A few exactly the same as each other and above asking (of course) with very attractive terms...
Well congratulations to my buyer clients! We got their offer submitted with appropriate pricing and terms and the sellers accepted it!! Our offer stood out above the rest. Open house cancelled! Now on to the numerous details required to get this to the closing table.

The text I received from the listing agent was:
"Hi Mike. We have a deal. I’ll send the executed contract. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
You were the dark horse at the end. Nicely done."
A great complement coming from another realtor. Rich Strike had 80:1 odds in the Kentucky Derby. I like to thing mine are MUCH better!
