Quite the Investment!!

Closed on this beautiful home in Worcester yesterday. I was able to get them $50,000 over the asking price. There were some hiccups along the way (such as the lender questioning the value and requesting a second appraisal). I was able to handle these problems without issue and was able to justify the sale price with good comparative sales and a contract reflecting the cost of the solar system that they installed after they purchased the home. The net of it is I was able to get them this home (when they bought) at the asking price. This was 2 1/2 years ago, in what was a highly competitive market. Sold the home yesterday for $121,000 more than they paid for it! Not a bad investment! Needless to say My seller clients were absolutely thrilled!!
