HOME SWEET HOME! - AND THE BUYERS ONLY HAD TO COME UP WITH $600 OUT OF POCKET!!

I consider it one of my responsibilities, as a leading realtor, to stay on top of any trends/changes in programs, market conditions, etc. that may impact my clients.

A recent program that Mass Housing made available was the Mass Dreams Grant program. This program awarded grants for up to $50,000 depending on the buyer's income and location. I have promoted this program and posted about it earlier here.

Well, one of my recent clients was the direct beneficiary of this program! As a result this couple had to come up with only $600 out of pocket. They used a substantial portion of the remainder of the grant to pay down their interest rate thereby makng the purchase very reasonable and affordable.

Unfortunately this program will be coming to an end at the end of the month. There are other incentive programs available however which I would be happy to share with you!
